Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples, an American singer and actress. Her most acclaim was for her performance as Layla Grant in the drama series Nashville (2012) as well as Claudia Shepard in Sharknado (2013). Also, she played the lead role of Jerrica Jem Benton on the film Jem and the Holograms (2015). Aubrey Peeples, the child of Wendy Peeples and Ashley Peeples, was raised on Lake Mary Florida. She has a sister who is named Ally. Aubrey was a part-time performer for ten years in the Orlando Repertory Theatre. Aubrey was a graduate of Lake Mary Preparatory School where she was the valedictory speaker for the class in 2012. Harvard University accepted her but agreed on entry twice the second time to accept the role she played in Nashville. Peeples played on the screen in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011, Grey's Anatomy (2005) as well as Grey's Anatomy (2005). Peeples also played a frequent role in Necessary Rustiness (1991). Peeples was a part of two TV-produced movies, Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009 and The Good Mother). She was one of the main characters in the Nashville series, where she played Layla Grant. In the year 2019 Peeples talked about having bipolar disorder in an interview with NKD Magazine. Indiewire identified Peeples at the end of September as among the nation's top young actors.
